LAUNCHING

NOVEMBER 29

ENCOUNTERED AND TRANSFORMED BY THE FULLNESS OF GOD

UPCOMING EVENTS

UPSIDE DOWN & INSIDE OUT LEADERSHIP

"Upside Down & Inside Out Leadership"
Foundry Value 2 of 5
Intentional, humble, and staying curious

Jesus flipped the world's model of leadership upside down when he taught us that you have to serve to lead (John 13:1-17). A godly leader is continually being transformed and empowered through the Holy Spirit from the inside out.

Join us as The Foundry Silver Lake would like to serve you. We will serve you dinner and learn ways that we can come together as a church family to use our God given gifts to reach each other and the community. Dinner will be served inside the main space.

TRANSFORMATION

"Transformation"
Foundry Value 3 of 5
If you are coming to stay the same, you're in the wrong place.

Jesus called out to the broken, the weary, and those burned out on religion. No matter how hard each of us may try, we cannot live as we should in our own power, but we don't have to. So, come as you are and learn to live in Christ through the transformational power of the Holy Spirit. It is our desire to be transformed into Christ's image and to never attempt to transform Him into ours.

Join us as we prepare our church building to transform hearts and lives for the glory of His kingdom. This event is designed for us to come together and transform a newly redesigned building into one that feels like home. Help us clean, set up chairs, stock the kitchen, yard work, and anything else that needs to be done in preparation of the soft launch that is quickly approaching.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.

COURAGEOUS OBEDIENCE

"Courageous Obedience"
Foundry Value 4 of 5
Obedience to Christ is worth the risk.

God values faithful obedience. The world values success. We choose to obey God, which means we are willing to take risks without guaranteed outcome, even if it looks like failure in the world's eyes. We strive to make decisions bakes on the principle modeled in Acts 15:28. We re willing to try new things and will end a good thing to do something better. When mistakes occur, we will strive to learn and grow. We will hold method, position, and control loosely to obey courageously.

Join us for a morning of courageous obedience. We will start the morning off at the Foundry Silver Lake Campus. We will pray and worship together to prepare our hearts for where the Holy Spirit wants to lead us. The word of God is clear (Romans 8) we are co-heirs to our Father's kingdom, and we are to be about His business. Creation waits eagerly for the saints (you) to be revealed. The goal of this time together, is to make Him known in our community. We will wait for direction from the Holy Spirit, on where to go and whom to pray for. Then comes the courageous obedience part, to act on our Abba Father's direction.

We know God always shows up when we make space, and let Him lead. Let us encounter the community and then return to the Foundry Silver Lake campus to debrief and share testimonies of all that God did when we chose to step out of our comfort zones and be courageously obedient.

Coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning and pizza will be provided for lunch during the debrief.

THE TABLE

"The Table"
Foundry Value 5 of 5
Are you prepared to make room?...really?

In a society where real connections are rare, we want to create a place where you can know people and be known. We have a seat for you, and we will receive you just as you are. Gathering around tables is our way to generously invest in the lives around us. There is something sacred in gathering, and our desire is to forge deep connections around small tables that will ultimately lead us to the Lord's Table.

Join us for an informal open house. Invite the one that the Lord has put on your hearts; whether it’s family, friends, neighbors or the gas station clerk - everyone is welcome at our table. No pressure, just come and hang out, tour the remodeled church building, ask questions, and enjoy refreshments. Mark your calendars, as this event is the last of our 5 value inspired events. The following Sunday, November 29, we are officially open and excited for what the Lord will do through Foundry Silver Lake.
